Rangoli Making Competition
Rangoli – Where divine trails of colours meet the canvas of life.
Rangoli pattern in different states of India is known by different names. Be it Kollam in Tamil Nadu, Sathiya in Gujarat, Alpana in Bengal, Mandana in Rajasthan, Osa in Odisha, Aipan in Uttarakhand, or simply the Rangoli from Maharashtra – every region has its own unique way of representing their tradition.
A Rangoli Competition was organized for the students of classes V, VII to XII on 5th and 6th November, 2023.
The students created beautiful regional rangoli patterns on varied theme like Childhood, Conservation of the Environment and Social Awareness.
The criteria for judgement were design, innovation and creativity, neatness and precision, overall appearance and appeal.
The beautiful rangolis were a blend of artistry and imagination, a unique story in each design.
